Once again, the team of Jon Jefferson and Dr. Bill Bass have shown their unique talents for detail, character development and engaging believable plot lines in this introduction to the newest character to join forces with Dr. Bill Brockton and his assistant Miranda.

The use of the name of the man considered to be the first modern philosopher for the chief Inspector on the case is no less brilliant. The details into restoration of fine art and the techniques of the most successful forgers once again illustrated this rare brilliance of collaboration.

In this mini prequel to "The Inquisitor's Key," Jon Jefferson and Dr. Bill Bass combine their talents, once again, and it's clearly an amazing short story. From the moment i started reading it, I was intrigued.
